Thank You.
Many Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving today. Traditionally, we slow down for the holiday, eat a delicious meal, and consider the gratitude we feel for all of the great people and experiences in our lives.
While not everyone spends the day this way, it makes for a lovely ideal.
I have a number of items on my to-do list, so I don’t know how relaxing my day will be. Even so, I will be more thoughtful throughout the day of how much I appreciate what I have.
One of the things for which I am grateful is that you are here, reading this.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to join me here.
This year has been rather intense for me. I have had to learn so much (particularly in tech), and I had to create a new daily rhythm in order to pursue becoming an independent knitwear designer. Intense. But also wonderful and exciting and fulfilling.
However it would all be for naught if you were not joining me on the journey. So…
Thank you for subscribing here and reading my weekly thoughts.
Thank you for buying my patterns.
Thank you for following me in other online spaces—Instagram and YouTube.
And if you are my tech editor or one of my test knitters: I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you.
Whether or not you are celebrating Thanksgiving today…
I wish for you joy, good food, and time to relax with your knitting.
In fact, I wish that for you every day!
Looking for an interesting new pattern, or maybe a last-minute gift knit?
I am currently running a Black Friday Sale on both Ravelry and Etsy. (Fun fact for my elite cadre of readers: my pattern prices will likely go up next year, so if there are any patterns you’ve had your eye on, don’t wait!)
ALL of my patterns are 25% off! The sale runs through Monday, November 27, 2023 (11:59pm EST). No code needed on Etsy. Use code THANKYOU on Ravelry.
And don’t forget that I have printable “Handmade with Love” gift tags available—and also on sale—on Etsy. They’re perfect for slipping into all of the handmade items you’ll be gifting this season!
